For Signature Hair by Kirstie‘s new website I worked with Simone Russell, a local graphic designer, who was creating new artwork for Kirstie. It was great to work directly with a graphic designer and have Simone’s expert input for the website design and build. Kirstie now has a great platform to showcase her work and she was very happy with the results: “I’ve recently been working with Simone Russell – Graphic Design & Illustration to create some new business artwork.Read More→
We can’t take credit for any of the design on this website, the very talented graphic designer Simone Russell deserves all of that! Web Leithen helped out with all the behind-the-scenes set up, installing WordPress and plugins and then setting up a basic layout for Simone to get started with. Look out for more collaboration with Simone over the next few months!
As easy as WordPress is to use, some people find it easier to use Web Leithen to update their website content so that they can focus on other things – in this case, fundraising. I’ve just added a news article with a slideshow of photographs to the Alec Lucas Memorial Trust website along with a few other changes including adding a link to the charity’s new Facebook page. The Alec Lucas Memorial Trust has raised an amazing amount of moneyRead More→
Here is another website refresh to share with you. We have modernised the look and layout for Leithen Business Services, making sure that their new WordPress website was responsive and user friendly. We also did some work to improve search engine optimisation on the website (not that it’s needed as Leithen Business Services are pretty busy from word-of-mouth already!).
Our latest website design for the very lovely Pirn Road Holiday Apartment here in Innerleithen. It’s been an extremely quick turn around over the last few days – the builders finished, the photos were taken, the first guests arrived, the photos were loaded to the website and it was all ready for some publicity during the Tweedlove biking festival! The apartment looks fantastic and we wish Pauline and Danny every success with their latest venture.

We’ve just realised that we forgot to celebrate our anniversary this week – it is one year since Web Leithen officially came into existence! As with all small businesses it’s important to sometimes remember to take a step back from the day-to-day work and recognise all that you have achieved. We could show this just by looking at the websites we have designed however the websites themselves are only part of the picture. We always look wider than this toRead More→
